ISP Applications Engineer

Develop in-system programming solutions for customers using CheckSum test systems, specifically its MultiWriter solution. Work for a company with a proven 25+ years’ record of providing PC-based test solutions in the board test industry.

  • Job Responsibilities:

Design and development of power-up test solutions using the CheckSum test platform

Create code to utilize CheckSum’s industry-leading embedded systems technology to program microcontrollers.

Design and debug custom functional/power-on test applications

  • Experience/Skills Required:

BSEE or equivalent

Familiarity with the use of oscilloscopes, DMMs, etc.

Familiarity with analog and digital circuit design

Skilled at written and verbal communication in English

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Windows OS

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Customer oriented work ethic

Willingness to travel

Senior Sales Role - Automotive Electronics

CheckSum is seeking a senior salesperson to help us add new automotive electronics customers. We will shortly launch a new technology solution to further our throughput advantage and open doors with new customers.

  • Job Responsibilities:

Grow CheckSum’s automotive business selling our patent-pending Parallel Functional Test technology to high volume, global manufacturers of automotive electronics.

  • Experience/Skills Required:

Proven sales performer with a track record of landing new accounts and growing existing relationships

Five years of experience selling CapEx electronic equipment required

Experience selling automated board test equipment preferred

General technical knowledge of electronics required

Demonstrated ability to network to develop leads and multiple relationships at target accounts

Salesforce.com fluent

Strong communication skills

Self-starter with sense of urgency and an ability to work independently

Mechanical Designer

 

CheckSum is seeking a full-time Mechanical Designer to lead its design team in the production of electronic test equipment. Candidates must be able to exhibit ingenuity and expertise in use of established procedures to perform duties in researching, planning, designing and developing products for use in electronic test environments.

  • Job Responsibilities:

Design of custom mechanical products that meet specific customer requirements

Responsible for managing and implementing projects of varying complexity and scope to meet company and industry objectives

Supervise team of mechanical designers, assemblers and machinists building fixtures

Support sales in analyzing potential mechanical design requests for viability and cost estimates

Collaborate with Manufacturing Manager to ensure on-time delivery of product to customers

  • Experience/Skills Required:

Prefer a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience

7-10+ years of experience with demonstrated design capabilities

Possess and utilize practical hands-on experience in day to day activities

Creative thinker with ability to visualize future results

Strong analytical skills and an enthusiasm for solving problems

Must be a team player with strong project and people management skills

Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Outstanding PC skills including experience with CAD

Basic knowledge of FEA and strain analysis

Familiarity in CNC machine shop practices

Experience in pneumatics and electronic controls
