ISP Applications Engineer

Develop in-system programming solutions for customers using CheckSum test systems, specifically its MultiWriter solution. Work for a company with a proven 30+ years’ record of providing PC-based test solutions in the board test industry.

  • Job Responsibilities:

Design and development of power-up test solutions using the CheckSum test platform Create code to utilize CheckSum’s industry-leading embedded systems technology to program microcontrollers. Design and debug custom functional/power-on test applications

  • Experience/Skills Required:

BSEE or equivalent 0-5 years’ experience in electronics manufacturing environment Familiarity with the use of oscilloscopes, DMMs, etc. Understanding of analog and digital circuit design Skilled at written and verbal communication in English Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Windows OS Ability to work independently and as part of a team Customer oriented work ethic Willingness to travel

Mechantronics Engineer

Candidates must be able to exhibit ingenuity and expertise in the use of established procedures to perform duties in researching, planning, designing and developing products for use in electronic test environments.

  • Job Responsibilities:

Design of custom mechanical products that meet specific customer requirements

Responsible for managing and implementing projects of varying complexity and scope to meet company and industry objectives

Solve complex problems across multiple disciplines (electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, etc) 

Support sales in analyzing potential mechanical design requests for viability and cost estimates

Collaborate with Production Manager to ensure on-time delivery of products to customers

  • Experience / Skills Required:

Prefer a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience

Demonstrated ability to document, write, technical summaries and assembly instructions and prepare drawings for manufacturer

Possess and utilize practical hands-on experience in day to day activities

Creative thinker with ability to visualize future results

Strong analytical skills and an enthusiasm for solving problems

Must be a team player with strong project and people management skills

Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Outstanding PC skills including experience with CAD and SolidWorks

Basic knowledge of FEA and strain analysis

Familiarity in CNC machine shop practices

Experience in pneumatics, solenoid valves and electronic controls

This position will contribute to the expansion of our business in a growing market. You must have a “hunter” mentality and be able to withstand ongoing rejection. Your primary responsibility will be prospecting, qualifying and generating leads through all available resources.

  • Experience/Skills Required:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in sales experience

3-5 years’ experience in technical lead generation, inside sales and business development

Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)

Strong attention to detail

Strong organizational skills

Excellent PC skills and familiarity with CRM software, particularly Salesforce
