ISP/Applications Engineer

  • Job description

Develop in-system programming solutions for customers using CheckSum test systems, specifically its MultiWriter solution. Work for a company with a proven 30+ years’ record of providing PC-based test solutions in the board test industry.

  • Primary Responsibilities:

Design and development of power-up test solutions using the CheckSum test platform

Create code to utilize CheckSum’s industry leading embedded systems technology to program microcontrollers

Design and debug custom functional/power-on test applications

 

  • Experience/Skills Required:

BSEE or equivalent

0-5 years’ experience in electronics manufacturing environment

Familiarity with the use of oscilloscopes, DMMs, etc.

Sales Development Representative

  • Job description

Drive engagement with potential clients through B2B social media campaigns, including LinkedIn. Organize multi-pronged prospecting strategies to generate conversations and leads. Analyze results to improve approach.

  • Primary Responsibilities:

Organize, execute, and analyze outreach campaigns to initiate connection and drive engagement on social media.

Utilize multiple software tools to organize and implement specific campaigns.

Manage high volume of daily outbound emails to targeted accounts.

Assist sales team to drive engagement to identify key stakeholders and decision makers within target accounts.

Work with sales team to optimize follow up campaigns.

Mech Assembler

  • Job description

Assemble or fabricate mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a specific area of a production line in a manufacturing organization.

Field Product Specialist

  • Job description

Be a key member of CheckSum’s team in increasing revenue growth, deploying new products, and supporting global customers. In this role, you will be the subject matter expert for CheckSum’s parallel test in programming solutions. Your technical expertise and industry experience will drive customers to improve quality and reduce costs in their PCBA production operations.

  • Primary Responsibilities:

Serve as CheckSum’s product expert supporting field personnel, customers, and R&D

Manage customer and applications support using help desk tools

Provide hands on customer training and support, domestic and international travel required

Demonstrate CheckSum’s industry advantages to potential customers

Develop detailed technical content for manuals, help desk files, and website

Advise R&D on new product development while representing the customers’ viewpoint

Junior Software Engineer

  • Job description

The ideal candidate will develop a wide range of board test solutions, in-circuit test, in-system programming, and functional test solutions for CheckSum’s customers.  They will implement code in a variety of languages and architectures.

 

  • Primary Responsibilities:

Design and develop new software features for CheckSum’s leading technologies (In-Circuit Test, In-System Programming, Functional Test, etc.)

Develop software to meet custom requirements for integration of test systems into customer’s manufacturing environment

Perform revision/release management

Manage projects and timelines to meet company objectives

Provide top level customer support

  • Experience/Skills Required:

Prefer a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Must have 10+ years of experience in software design

Programming development experience in test and measurement instruments, low-level drivers, user interface and embedded firmware for microcontrollers is preferred

Basic knowledge in electronic circuits including debugging electrical hardware from software (PC or embedded), ability to interpret datasheets and electrical schematics and serial communication buses (I2C, SPI, JTAG, RS485 etc.)

Familiarity with the use of digital meters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and power supplies

Experienced in programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Python and Delphi

The ideal candidate will be responsible for set up, repair, and maintenance of electronics test systems and electronic circuit boards.  This position will require good problem-solving skills, an eye for detail, and good manual dexterity.

Test, debug, diagnose, and repair electronics hardware
