More and more companies are switching to in-line testing, even in low labor cost regions like China. True in-line systems, as opposed to robotic-based conversions of conventional testers, offer smaller footprints and faster overall throughput. At Productronica 2017 in Munich, Germany CheckSum introduced its latest member of the in-line tester family, the ils3000.
“The ils 3000 can handle larger panels and provide combinational testing for your PCBAs in high to very high volume manufacturing facilities with up to 3000 test points.”
The ils 3000 adds new capabilities to the ils with larger board capacity, dual-level probing, auto rail width adjustment and CE certification. The ils 3000 can handle PCBAs up to 590 mm (23.2”) wide and up to 380 mm(14.9”) deep. The ils 3000 can handle larger panels and provide combinational testing for your PCBAs in high to very high volume manufacturing facilities with up to 3000 test points.
The ils 3K can be configured with other test options including TestJet Vectorless test, Boundary Scan using any of the major solution providers, MultiWriter Gang ISP programming capability, programmable power supplies for functional testing and any other CheckSum standard upgrades.
Starting with the ils and later the ils-43, CheckSum has been offering reliable, easy to use in-line test systems for over 20 years.
